Your VOTE Counts – May 21st Pottstown Primaries…

From Pay-to-Play politics in Pottstown, (google Remington, Vernick & Beach), which I have written about extensively, to the simple fact that many of you don’t even know who your Ward Representative is nor do you see your Ward Representatives on the streets in your neighborhood, until they want to ask you to vote them back onto council or back in the mayors position for four more years of the same…

Council of today doesn’t place a value on return phone calls or emails, to their constituents in a timely fashion, if at all, and your concerns take a back seat until…

ELECTION TIME.  How can this behavior be misconstrued as REPRESENTATION?  Does your Ward Rep. ask for your input when its time to make weighty decisions about how to spend your tax dollars, or what you feel is in the best interest of Pottstown?

NO, they don’t.

Even if you are bold enough to stand before them at council meetings and tell them what you feel…9 times out of 10 they vote with their fellow council sheeople.   It matters not that you live with their decisions and your insight is VALUABLE.

Where’s the logic in that?  A poignant quote from the brilliant Albert Einstein has become Pottstown’s unofficial credo:

“Insanity:  doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results.” 

Today, I officially endorse the candidacies of:

SHERYL MILLER 3rd WARD COUNCILWOMAN:

Sheryl studied crime and justice at Albright College.  As a resident of the 3rd Ward, she is well regarded for her straight talk.  Sheryl has been hard at work meeting with her neighbors and hearing their concerns for Pottstown.  Sheryl says:

CINDY CONARD 7th WARD COUNCILWOMAN

RYAN PROCSAL 1st WARD COUNCILMAN is running unopposed and he is supported by homeowners in the 1st Ward.  As a homeowner he understands the major challenges in our ward with blight, absentee rental property owners and disrespectful tenants.  Quality of Life issues impact our neighborhood and are a top priority. 

ROSS BELOVICH FOR MAYOR OF POTTSTOWN.

I know Ross and have spent time discussing, with him, the challenges we have in Pottstown.   Ross possesses a profound insight about the issues, in part, because he’s well read, well researched and he listens to people and he hears their worry about the high crime statistics in Pottstown.

Ross is also a man of integrity, forthright and willing to say so if he doesn’t agree, nothing personal and no grudges to bear.
